hi Sam, I have just joined and you are my first contact with the site. I too have spent the last few years in a downward spiral. I hope things are looking up for you now. Any tips on getting through week 2?

Hi Sam,

How is everything going? I live just up the road from you, I'm a Midlands girl too and about your age... we also have that other thing in common - addiction. Grrr. I've done this (quit) a few times now and keep relapsing, but its fair to say I'm an old hand at this so if you need any help, PLEASE ASK.

love Weedless x

Hi Sam.. welcome aboard.. Hopefully you'll get this. We're all in the same boat here and you'll find a lot of support from a small but very caring bunch of people... Getting through the first few days can be the hardest physically, and it's easy to feel disheartened after a few failed attempts, but it does get easier particularly with support.. and there's no shame if you're still in the preparation for your quit, or even if you don't feel ready at all... or if you'd rather just browse, that's cool too.. evne just reading others quit journals can really help, as the issues and problems seem pretty common to everyone here, despite a large range of ages and backgrounds..

as Cat says.. keep checking in :)
