Benefits of quitting cannabis

i consider this site something different so i will make my approach different aswell.

I'm 22 years of age, i first tryed weed when i was 14, but wasn't a regular consumer until the age of 20. If someone asks me what my favorite music is, what my favorite movies are or any other type of art i wouldn't know how to answer really...I like emotional and deep stuff. I listen to celtic music because of all the haunting and sad lyrics and melodies...i'm not depressed when i listen to it, it just gives me a special feeling...when i listen to it, i imagine myself somewhere else, with someone i love, feeling peacefull and relaxed....But i also like heavymetal, rock, punk, everything. It depends on my mood. I know it sounds confusing but that's how it is. When i'm out, with friends and such i like to be happy, make jokes and I really am not a loner. People find me funny, sarcastic, intelligent and honest. I tell everyone how i feel about them straight to their face because I just can't lie. I am not depressed, i'm just too emotional...The only ones i lie to are my parents because they are just to conservative to understand how someone can turn to marijuana or gambling, which are things that destroyed my life....I finally understood this and all I want is to get rid of them, to be happy like I was before (but at that time, didn't really understand how happy i was), and I don't want anyone to be unhappy or concerned about me...If someone would ask me, what kind of a person I was, i can honestly say "I am someone who doesn't have 0,005% of hate or corruptness inside my heart"....but my vices such as weed, ciggarettes, alcohol, gambling...they all made me lose my integrity....
