Hi,

I haven't been here for a while. Guess you know what that means! But I'm back on the right path again and haven't smoked for 10 days. So heres a question.... I've had a re-evaluation of the friendships I have and now I feel like nothing is what it seemed. Even my non-stoner mates seem different. I've started to realise that the vast majority of people in my life were probably not ever my 'mates' in the first place. Most people, stoners and non-stoners, only bother to talk to me when they want something ior they have nothing else to do and no one else to keep them company. Is this something that I've only come to realise as the fog is clearing from my head, or am I just being really oversensative now that I actually have some feelings lol?

Sorry, I'm massively aware that I sound like a right whinger at the moment!

xx

I've had a lot of so called friends over the years only to find they were using me to get what they want but were not actually friends, you need to break all ties with those types and keep the quality ones. Real friends will offer help and support in difficult times, try asking for help and you will find out who your real mates are.
all the best with your quit ;)
