Hey buddies :) I just found dis site 2 days ago I couldn't believe it and feel alot better knowing other people are going thou da same drama as myself , i'v had 18yrs+ smoking , it's a love hate thing hash at da being weed was a urban legend back then thank god as well coz if it was I would never had made it dis far , but in da last 6 years i'v got to know a few small growers and friends started growing to and after a while everyone was and in da last 3yrs it just seems to get stronger every harvest , sometimes it's mellow and u think to urself this is great I could Smoke dis forever , then u start putting in more and more in and then heavy stuff comes and ur brain turns to da foggy haze before u know it's been a week since u last left da house and u'v watched ur favourite show a 1000 times living on pot noodles and pizza , my house is dat place were everyone calls to get high and have a laugh and dat could last till 3am on a work nite , which is where one of da problems start I'm late most days, I really don't know now I get away it , and then it starts again most people get a brake from da puff in work but not me , ders always someone burning one up and ur sure to see me in picture . At da moment after reading other post and hearing the good dat being off it dose for people has me really pushing myself to stop , so I'm finishing my stash and stopping , I have never really tried before coz I don't run out , so I have reduced my intake I wouldn't want to freak out :/ I got my boss to put me by myself so I'm not led astray , and a few of da lads are off it already and living new lifes and are going to back me , so small steps and then jump watch dis space :) Good luck to ye dat are in battle with the herb at da mo , yer da real winners ere :) Willi

for the road - I hear you.  I loved to Oregon, in the US just as the whole thing became almost totally LEGAL - strong weed and you can grow as much as you like at home.  For me it was more about letting something like a weed take control of my life forevermore.  I gave it plenty of years and it pretty much gave me nothing back - except to find the good people here - who have become dear and beloved friends to me.

You're in good company - keep coming back.

good morning soph, feel so bad that you're not doing all that great at the moment!  There's an old saying, "this too shall pass." i firmly believe that.  No matter how things feel at the moment, it's subject to change, maybe in the next few minutes, maybe in a couple of hours, it will get better!

As for teeth and gums, have you tried baking soda?

Just lost a whole paragraph, i swear i just lost too many brain cells.  another good reason to give it up!  Used to be able to spell too.

A lot of really good suggestions from this site!  My favorite-with all the money you're saving (in my case lots) buy something you've been wanting for a long time.  I went shopping for living room curtains.  Couldn't find any i liked, but came home with three bagfulls anyways!  My ole man wasn't a bit upset, he just wants me to feel better.  I also ran into an old friend that i hadn't seen in a long time.  i had been terrified at the prospect of going out without myold crutch, but i did, and i'm so glad i did!

Music can make you feel better too.  I'm blasting my music again.  Even trying to sing along, something i haven't done since my breathing problems started!

So many things, Soph.  Yesturday i looked at success stories on this site.  Strange how that was the only topic that i hadn't checked out!!!  Pretty powerful stuff!!

So my friend, just keep at it, maybe one day soon we'll laugh at all that we allowed a chemical to do to us!      hope you feel great soon!     terri

Anyways, i so wish that there was something i could say to really make you feel better.   the suggestions are all here, use some of the money you are saving(in my case it's a lot) and buy yourself something you've been wanting for a while, but
