I even sometimes thow it away on the way home then find my self going to look for it next day or just buying more :( that has been this way for a long time and ive had enough now...

Hi Rouse81.  I hope it's going ok, I see elsewhere that side effects are not always that severe.  So how come you've got to the point you want to quit?  It'd be good if you could perhaps tell us why you've got to this point, people seem to do it for so many different reasons, and being clear on this might help you beat the weed.

Well James iv been at this point what seems like for every wanting to quit that is... Smoking every bag like its my last then buying again the next day :( lost my job becuse of it.. I blame all my problems on weed, droping out off collage never having a relationship and losing my job.. Just feel like a waste of space.. Feels like its now or never to make the change and Grow and take charge of my life...

rouse81 - reread all of your posts this morning, trying to keep everyone straight in my head without being able to put a face on any of you - but feel I'm getting to know you in my heart.  Wish I had picked up the "loserville" comment earlier!  Thanks a lot!!!!

I think we are all here because we've done DAY ONE so many times and bought our last bag so many times that

we were desperate.  I know that's what brought me here - a google search.  Guess I should have typed in "loserville"!

Actually, more of us are winning all the time - and I, for one, never thought that possible.  You are getting through the worst days it - easy to fall back during that first week and give up quitting.  I'm on day 24 today and it's not perfect - but it's a heck of a lot better than where I was before.  I saw a quote that was meant to be humorous, but shook me to my core and made look seriously at quitting : "what if the only purpose to my life is to serve as a warning to others!"  As I said, it was supposed to be funny, but hit a nerve with me.  I want my life to mean so much more than that.  We all deserve better than to be known and remembered for our drug use!

I hope each day makes you stronger.  You've done this before - for longer than most of us have ever managed - you can do it this time FOR GOOD (double entendre intended!)

rouse,

No doubt you've seen amongst my posts how I've screwed pretty much everything in my life through smoking.  But no regrets, what's the point, can't get that time back, can only do better in the future, I guess.  I've just gotta get this thing under control, then I can start working on the rest.  It's day 14 for me, and I feel loads better already, so stick with it mate.
